About Son of a Pit

Son of a Pit, Inc (SOAP) began creating dog food in July 2018 when our Founder’s fur baby Jonas began to develop allergies and at the time many dog food products were being recalled. After consulting with her Veterinarian and Pet Nutritionist, she decided to develop a wet dog food recipe that would have all the nutrients her dog needed to grow and thrive.

As she began to create her recipes for Jonas, she decided to post them on social media platforms to record the process and journey. In a matter of months, Dawn was receiving order requests through her social media account and decided to begin serving customers who were in her local area.

Now a few years later, Son of a Pit, Inc has launched the brand online and continues to attract new customers to the Viddles line of wet and dry food as well as treats. Son of a Pit, Inc is proud to provide all natural, organic, human grade, fresh food for medium to extra-large breed dogs.
